IFC LPII: very nearly there.

Ian's record is very nearly finished.  A fresh sweep with rested ears, and a mastering check should have it in the can.

I'm really proud of some of the textures ambiently floating behind Ian's voice... this album has consistently surprised me in the interesting nooks and crannies it's managed to seek out.

The above blip from a song called Salvador Dali features a field recording I made at an office block near where I live.  The foyer is a vast chamber, three stories tall, with a glass front.  When the wind picks up, the whole space howls.  Out came the pocket microphone - and it's found its way onto this piece, along with a fragged synth and time-stretched drums.
