3am Book Group

In the last couple of weeks I've been doing some commercial work, including soundtracking a radio advertisement for London Zoo.  Here are clips from some of the different versions I submitted to the client:

Andy and I have also been tinkering with the idea of applying our songwriting skills to more radio-friendly material.  So far, we have one composition that is in the very early demos stages.  I hope to retool the arrangement so that it sounds more 'current'.

You would think that this kind of mainstream work would be a chore.  Surprisingly, it's not:  it just entails working to a different type of brief and adapting the knowledge I have already to new practices.  Quite refreshing.
